Patrick Hernandez - Born to be Alive LP - 1979
Got this in a 'flea market' for free. This one is pretty
bad - the guy on the cover looks like Jimmy Page, and
the music is just awful. It is the pop disco sound with
more focus on the vocals/lyrics and less on the danceability.
Closer to an AM Radio disco than a night club disco sound.
Cerrone - Love in C Minor - LP 1976
AWESOME! Only 3 tracks, one being over 17 minutes. I've
seen that this has be rereleased on CD. Bought this from
WeGotRecords.com in their Disco
Records section.
Gato Barbarie - Tropico - 1978
This is a nice disco jazz record. Romantic Disco Jazz.
Recommended. Basically this is smooth jazz from 1978 with
a heavy disco influence.
